Data visulisation dashboard for the UK Parliament.
This project aims to help get a deeper understanding of the UK political landscape leveraging available data on The Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
It currently allows visualisation of data from the House of Commons for the 2019 and 2017 General Election.
The results of the elections. Each constituency has as background the official color of the party which won its parliamentary seat.
The constituencies where the political party holding the seat has changed are highlighted. It is possible to visualise the seats lost and gained by each of the major political parties.
The constituencies with female MPs. It is possible to filter by political party as well as visualise the female candidates from each of the major political parties which took part in the election.
The turnout, as a percentage of the electorate for each constituency.
The majority of the winning candidate.
